The purpose of a Static Security Officer is to maintain a high visibility deterrent to Criminals, Intruders, Vandals, Trespassers or anybody/anything that can cause a risk to a site or surrounding area.
Some of the types of premises and/or surrounding areas that sometimes require a Static Security Officer include:

The SIA Security Guard licence offers a gateway to basic career as Security Guard. Whilst a security guard cannot work in venues selling alcohol and other entertainment venues, they are able to work in a variety of locations including banks, shopping centres, residential and other areas.
