Hi, I’m Lindsey
…I live in beautiful Bedford, although I originally grew up in Kent. This isn’t the only travelling mind you, back in 1998 I lived in Gran Canaria for several years with my husband before moving back to the UK in 2005.
I have been a First Aid instructor now since 2016 and I thoroughly love my job! I get to meet a wide range of people with an array of First Aid abilities on a daily basis and it’s great to see the difference in my delegates skillset with their confidence & competence by the end of each course, which I find very rewarding. First Aid is an excellent life skill to possess and having the correct training really can make a difference if you are ever in a situation that someone is taken poorly or injured that needs your help – this could happen anywhere and at anytime!
Before becoming a First Aid trainer, I worked in the Hospitality industry both in Gran Canaria and then here in the UK whilst my two children were young then ventured into becoming a cover teacher in a Secondary school before realising my passion for educating people in First Aid. Being a mother and dealing with real life first aid situations, shows you how precious life can be and growing up with a medical family background and the job satisfaction gained I don’t know why I didn’t become an instructor sooner.
